My nephew, Ashutosh!!!

I had written this piece eight months back when life had changed for all of us in my family and especially me as I gotto know the deeper meaning of 'life', of 'family'......

I still regret for not being there,
when you had the first glance of this world
The world, you had never seen, but only felt.
The moment I got the news of your arrival,
I waited desparately for the morning
just to get a glimpse of you, to feel you.
I looked at you and I realised how angels actually looked
That one glance of you and I forgot my own existence!!!

Life is never how it seems to be
In the peaceful darkness of night
You try to find that one hand
to pull you out from all your worries
You get entangled in your own thoughts
thinking there's something better for you
and this is the way to move on in life....

IDENTITY

I see you standing, standing all alone
that desire to be the lonely one
wanting to be aloof from the world
from people whom you would never want to be with
that thought which departs YOU from the rest
making you realise
You are the ONLY normal one here....

Feeling sick? My sympathies are with u....

I hate this feeling of being sick..can't believe something as mere as a cold and cough can hinder the normalcy of life. Like everyone else, I too hate being sick, ...especially on a weekend, when you know you have just two days in a week that you keep aside for all your so-called extra-curricular activities that you would have planned for the whole week! Even though I didn't feel in my best of health yesterday, somehow I never let the cold and cough affect me. I guess, I had to bear the after-effect of my yesterday's exersion today. I was coughing the whole day as though there was some kinda jamming session happening in my throat!I have finished one bottle of Benedryl, have chewed 'n' number of vicks tablets since yesterday..and what do I get after feeding my body with all the medication?? Zero percent relief!!!

I sympathise with all those who had to suffer during the weekend cause of the cold n' cough including myself....
